Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has made history at the worldwide box office with a worldwide gross of Rs 231 crore in just two days of release. These include the cast's personal records and benchmarks for the entire industry. Pathaan Box Office Collection is shown in this blog.
Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film, is on track to become one of the most successful Bollywood productions of all time. It has already set a number of records, both in India and around the world. On a weekday other than a holiday, the film had the biggest opening day ever for a Hindi-language release. In addition, it was the first Bollywood film to earn more than Rs 100 crore worldwide on opening day and had the largest international debut of any Bollywood film in history. In just two days, the film has made a staggering Rs 231 crore worldwide. According to theatre chain Inox, YRF reported a day one gross of Rs 106 crore and a day two gross of approximately Rs 125 crore.
The widest distribution of a Hindi film ever, Pathaan was shown in approximately 8000 theaters in more than 100 nations. The film opened in approximately 5000 theaters in India, making it the biggest debut for a Hindi film ever. In contrast, SS Rajamouli's RRR was released worldwide in approximately 10,000 theaters before it became a cult favorite in the United States.
Given that it was a national holiday, Pathaan's second haul was unsurprisingly higher than the first. The biggest single-day haul ever for a Hindi film came on Thursday, when the movie is said to have made more than Rs 70 crore.
YRF claims that Pathaan has broken all of the box office records listed below:
1- The first Hindi film to earn 70 crore rupees in a single day.
2- largest-ever distribution in Hindi in India.
3- highest opening day for a Hindi movie.
4- First day with the highest grossing non-holiday release.
5- After War (Rs 53.35 crore) and Thugs of Hindostan (Rs 52.25 crore), this is the third YRF film to surpass Rs 50 crore at the box office on its opening day.
6- After Ek Tha Tiger and War, this is the third YRF spy universe film to break the opening day record.
7- Shah Rukh Khan's first day had the highest earnings.
8- Deepika Padukone's first day had the highest earnings.
9- John Abraham's first day had the highest earnings.
10- Yash Raj Films' first day with the most money made.
Siddharth Anand's highest-grossing first day. Additionally, Anand now has two of the top three all-time openers, following War. Anand has now delivered both the number one and number two biggest opening day grossers in Bollywood if the dubbed Hindi version of KGF 2's opening day tally is removed. Pathaan is the first film in YRF's spy universe, which also includes the films Tiger starring Salman Khan and War starring Hrithik Roshan. There have been rumors of a second War movie, and Tiger 3 is coming soon.
After starring in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki and director Atlee's Jawan, Shah Rukh will make a comeback. His first major role in more than four years is Pathaan.
